Roasts from £17.95 at the Hole in the Wall to £25 at the Horse & Groom: nine Chichester pubs with Sunday menus, times and booking rules, checked October 2026.

The Sunday roasts most people land on around Chichester are the Hole in the Wall, the cheapest here with two-for-one roasts from 5pm; the Crown & Anchor at Dell Quay, serving until 9pm by the harbour; and the Downs village pubs, led by the Fox Goes Free at Charlton and the Royal Oak at East Lavant. Every entry checked against the pub’s own website on 25 October 2026.

We have not eaten these roasts for this guide, and nothing here is a review. Each entry sets out what the pub publishes: the roasts on its Sunday menu and what they cost, when they are served, and its booking, dog and children rules. Where a pub’s site did not show something, we have said so. Hygiene ratings come from the Food Standards Agency (FSA). Several pubs call their menus samples, so treat prices as a guide.

How we chose

These are the pubs around Chichester that publish what they serve on a Sunday: a roast menu, prices or at least serving times on their own website. We checked each site on 25 October 2026, added the Food Standards Agency hygiene rating (all nine are rated 5) and, where the pub’s site was silent, the Campaign for Real Ale’s listing. None had posted a closure notice. Pubs that serve roasts but publish nothing about them online are left out until they do. Run a place that should be here, or spot something that has changed?
