We checked 5 Christmas tree sellers near Chichester, from a Liss farm to cut-your-own near Horsham, for prices and dates. Updated November 2026.
There are five places to buy a real Christmas tree within about 20 miles of Chichester in 2026, and this guide puts them in one place with prices, opening dates and what each one sells. Most people land on Wylds Farm at Liss, a working farm where you choose a tree in the plantation; Petersfield Christmas Trees, which sells from Queen Elizabeth Country Park; Furze Firs near Horsham, where you cut your own; and Brick Kiln Garden Centre on the Bognor Road, the only one in the city. Every entry was checked against the seller’s own website on 5 November 2026.
We have not bought a tree from any of these for this guide, and nothing here is a review. Each entry says what the seller says it does, with its own prices where it publishes them. There is no Christmas tree farm inside the Chichester district that publishes its season online, so the farms here are over the Hampshire border or towards Horsham. Distances are straight-line from the city centre; the road is longer.
Prices for a 6ft tree
Three sellers publish a price for the size most homes buy.
| Seller | 6ft Nordmann fir | 6ft spruce | Smallest tree listed |
|---|---|---|---|
| Wylds Farm, Liss | £65 (Nordmann or blue spruce) | £55 | £35 (4ft spruce) |
| Petersfield Christmas Trees, Queen Elizabeth Country Park | £60 | not listed | £26 (2ft Nordmann) |
| Furze Firs, Slinfold | £45 (cut your own, up to 6ft) | not sold | £45 |
Wylds Farm’s prices include cutting the tree you choose. Brick Kiln Garden Centre and Ferring Country Centre had not put 2026 tree prices online when we checked.

It announced that last year’s trees had arrived on 25 November 2025 and had not posted its 2026 stock when we checked, so ring before you go. It has a large free car park, welcomes well-behaved dogs in the garden centre, and The Garden Restaurant is on site.

3. Wylds Farm, Liss
A farm on the edge of Liss, about 15 miles north of Chichester, that turns into what it calls a “Christmas Experience” each winter. You walk into the plantation, pick a fir or spruce, and one of the farm’s cutters in a hi-vis vest fells it and helps carry it to a tractor back to the yard, where it is measured, netted and paid for; there are pre-cut and pot-grown trees too, and you can bring your own saw.
The farm runs its own Après Tree Bar with mulled wine and its own ales, tractor rides and street food from Friday to Sunday, a Twelf Days of Christmas forest trail and a Christmas postbox. Dogs on leads are welcome.
The farm asks drivers to follow its signed route in and out, as the lanes are narrow.
The farm says weekdays are quieter than weekends and encourages cash to keep queues down.

4. Ferring Country Centre, Ferring
A charity farm and garden centre in Ferring, about 14 miles east of Chichester, that works with people who have learning disabilities. It holds a Christmas Tree and Santa’s Grotto weekend on Saturday 28 and Sunday 29 November 2026, and says every tree sold supports that work.
Trees bought that weekend carry 10% off, with 10% off in the gift shop as well, and the centre will deliver free later in the week, but only to BN11, BN12, BN13, BN14 and BN16, so Chichester buyers need to take the tree home. Grotto tickets are sold separately, with SEND sessions that have quieter lighting and sound.
Open tree weekend Saturday 28 and Sunday 29 November; centre open Monday to Saturday 9am to 4.30pm, Sunday 10am to 4pm
Price not yet published for 2026; 10% off trees on the tree weekend

5. Furze Firs, Slinfold
A choose-and-cut Nordmann fir plantation near Horsham, about 21 miles north-east of Chichester and the furthest on this list. It is run by three local families, describes itself as one of the few plantations in the South East where you can cut your own, and says it supplies Christmas trees to the BBC programme The Repair Shop.
You pick a tree in the field and cut it yourself, or buy a pre-cut tree from its stands; the farm says you pay for whatever you cut down and does not allow digging up. There is an Elf Trail through the trees for children, and dogs are welcome on leads.
The farm warns that the car park gets muddy after rain, so take wellies.
Open Saturday 21 November to Friday 18 December; Monday to Friday 9am to 4pm, Saturday and Sunday 8.30am to 3.30pm
Price cut your own up to 6ft £45; up to 7ft £55; up to 8ft £75; up to 9ft £95; up to 10ft £135; pre-cut trees priced individually; handmade wreath £39.50; wreath-making kit £30

How we chose
These are the places people around Chichester can buy a real tree from in 2026, chosen on the public record rather than on taste: a farm, plantation or garden centre within about 20 miles that publishes its season, with its own prices where it gives them. Dates, prices and rules come from each seller’s own website, read on 5 November 2026. We left out national online sellers that post trees to PO19 by courier, and garden centres that had published nothing about real trees this year. If you know a local farm, Scout group or charity selling trees this year, tell us and we will add it.
Run a place that should be here, or spot something that has changed? Email newsdesk@chichesterlive.co.uk. Taken a good photograph of any of these places? Email it to newsdesk@chichesterlive.co.uk and we will add it with your name as the credit.
